Where do I practice?

My personal Dojo.
It serves a dual purpose. I also practice Soto Zen so it has a Butsudan (Buddhist place) which we do not have at the Kodokai Dojo.
People have been curious about this place so I thought that I would put these photos together for you. It was inspired by some of my favorite Dojos and temples on Okinawa.

While everyone does not have a space to designate solely for cultivating the Way, I do recommend that you at least hang a picture, put up a shinza, or do something to remind you to daily practice. Sit and quietly reflect. Think of your teachers, think of the things that you have learned, think about your responsibilities and relationship to others, and think of how you can live a more compassionate life.

And remember, "Jiki Shin Kore Dojo", or, "If the mind is right, everywhere is a place to practice the Way."
